Hopes of a 2011-2012 NBA season just grew a little more dim as the NBPA rejected the league\u2019s latest proposal for a new labor deal. \u00a0This seemingly will pave the way for a lawsuit. \u00a0Union executive director BIlly Hunter said the players are prepared to file an antitrust action against the NBA feeling \u201cthat\u2019s the best situation where players can get their due process.\u201d \u00a0Commissioner David Stern was clearly not happy with the NBPA and expressed his concern. \u00a0It\u2019s hard to feel sorry for either side when billionaires are bickering with millionaires over who\u2019s going to get more money. \u00a0The tradgedy in today\u2019s economy falls on the shoulders of the hundreds of people behind the scenes who rely on the NBA for income \u2013 ushers, cashiers and box office attendants will also be locked out and that is a shame.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
